Our Services

"Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning but also capable of succeeding."
– Robert John Meehan

Designed to support growth and connection, our Occupational Therapy (OT) services focus on helping children, teens and young adults develop the skills needed for everyday activities and tasks. This can include improving the following skills:

  • Emotional Regulation

  • Fine motor skills

  • Sensory processing

  • Self-care skills (toileting, showering, dressing, sleep)

  • Play skills

  • Social skills.

OT’s work with children who have various challenges, such as developmental delays, physical disabilities, sensory processing disorders, Autism, ADHD or developmental trauma.

We use play and engaging activities to support children in reaching their developmental milestones, enhancing their independence, and promoting overall well-being. The goal is to help children participate fully in their daily lives, whether at home, in school, or in the community.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, is a type of therapy used to help people process and heal from traumatic, anxiety-provoking or stressful experiences. When we have a difficult experience, the emotion and memory can often get ‘stuck’ in our brain and body, and the process of EMDR helps the memory to get ‘unstuck’.

EMDR aims to reduce the emotional charge of traumatic memories, helping individuals feel more at ease and regulated in their day to day lives. EMDR sessions take place with our Occupational Therapist.
